Integrated Health Coaching is Holistic

Using an integrated approach, I partner with people in making positive changes in behaviors that impact all aspects of health and well-being. This can encompass making changes in areas of physical fitness, nutrition, sleep, physical environment, emotional well-being, fulfillment and purpose and really anything else that has an impact on one’s health and well-being. Because these areas of health are often interrelated and impact one another, making a positive change in one area often leads to positive changes in others!

Coaching Is A Process

Health coaching involves a process in which a partnership is created between coach and client. Through this partnership, we examine your optimal vision of health, and identify areas of challenge and where you would like to make changes. We progress into setting goals that are attained over time by making small, gradual changes that fit into your busy life, culminating in the establishment of new, healthier habits and patterns that align with your vision of optimal health.

Coaching is An Opportunity For Learning and Insight

Health and well-being coaching offers the opportunity for learning and gaining self-insight. We gain awareness of the current habits we have in place and how we can alter our behaviors to make changes that positively impact our health and well-being. An essential element throughout the coaching process is mindfulness. Through coaching, we become more aware of our automatic habits and what triggers certain behaviors. We can use this knowledge to implement gradual changes that fit into our day-to-day lives, and determine what the obstacles to change are and how we can work around these obstacles or overcome them when they arise.

You Are The Expert On Your Own Life

Throughout the coaching process, clients are the experts on their own lives and what works best for them. Through a process of discovery and trying things out, clients see what works and what doesn’t as they make adjustments to their routines and patterns. As a coach, I’m there to support clients and help them strategize throughout the coaching process.

The wonderful thing about being a health coach, is the opportunity to help and support others to take charge of their own health and well-being. The answers most often lie within ourselves and we need someone at times to help us identify these answers and encourage us to take the necessary steps to implement the changes that help us live happier and healthier lives.
